nah, just posting for fun.

anyway, do you think selling my 28 prime and the vertical grip can get me a 500mm reflex?

also, what do you think about the bigma? size, price and focal range aside, do you think it is a better choice over the reflex? things like sharpness, CA, AF speed etc.

sell ur vertical grip? u got extra ar? thought u search for it for so long until ur thread is one of the longest WTB thread? :bsmilie:

har... no la... if u intend to keep ur 7D for much longer, then keep ur vc, wat i feel la... without vc a 7d doesnt not feel very well.. hhaa... i going for climbing end this mth, gotto sacrifies my vc n leave it at home to lighten abit of weight n go compact up the peak. very reluctant to detach the vc from the body. seems something is lost

do you have any idea what you really want?

sort of. after i bought your teleconvertor, i feel that i just need a super tele. remember i told you that one of my aims when going into DSLR is bird photography? cos i was about to try bird photo during my years using the nikon FE, but after noticing that the price of DSLR was dropping, i decided wait and try it out on the minolta 7D(not that minolta is good at bird photo, but rather, it was something i already wanted to do while using film). after trying out the teleconvertor, it confirms what i want. somemore the 500mm being so compact was just too hard to resist. that 70-200 + all those other lenses were darn heavy.

hmmm............that might be a good idea actually, but is there any reasons why more people are using camera lenses rather than telescopes? aperture?manual focus?picture quality? mounting problems?

Ever thought of using scope for birding?:p

i think the problem would be aperture? haha.. actually my intention of getting a telescope is to take astrophotography and my all time hobby, fantasy, and dream to have a telescope for astro glazing :bsmilie:

well, i guess you know your own needs best. i don't really know much about bird photography, and what level you intend to pursue it at. hope the mirror lens does what you want it to do.
