Notice the light trail in the sky, for those who are not sure how is this formed, it was actually the light trails left behind by construction cranes. Saw this sometime back so wanted to do a less extreme version of this. The only limitation was a growling stomach and sugar level in blood going low. Might come back here for the fun of it another day.
Manually blended 3 exposures and some tonal adjustments using curves.
Handheld and focused in live view of the camera handheld, using TS-E17. Single exposure with some minor tonal adjustments. A quick shot in less than 5 minutes, snap and go.
This is a single RAW exposure of 65 seconds to capture part of the cloud motion, which disintegrated after I stopped this exposure thereby justifies on hindsight the stopping of the exposure at 65 seconds. The original idea was to capture crossing trails but the street lights are way too yellow and strong to isolate the tones.
A quick shot before the Merlion dutifully spits water. As I've mentioned, the Merlion wakes up earlier after the body check up it had last year. Finally, the Sunrise is early enough for me to get a shot before the reflection is disturbed by the water current due to the water thrown out of the Merlion.
