Exploration of Tuas South. Found this empty patch which has a look of desolation and emptiness which bring out the concept I had in mind. I wanted to portray Tuas aside from the normal perception of factories after factories, which after a short drive about was my own perception of it as well. Finally found this spot and it lends itself well to an IR treatment than a coloured or normal B&W treatment.

Taken on Pentax K5+Sigma 10-20+Hoya R72 for 41 seconds.

This was the first attempt at exposure blending. Two exposures to expose for the sky and the buildings. Thankfully, I didn't need a third one for the trees.

I like this one a lot too! Foreboding sunset and peaceful looking day

Taken on TS-E17 during this morning sunrise shoot, with minor tonal and contrast adjustments using a single exposure. I have done the reflection of MBS a few times and this time I decided to get up very early and shoot this. As much as a faux reflection is possible, this is the result of very calm water, where I could push the shutter speed longer, i.e. 30sec, yet still managing to get a clear reflection.

#281 - wow.... no more floating balls in the water but that crane really spoil it.... Nitpick - Great reflection though... you will also need to correct those intensity of light in the water if you are correcting those on the buildings....there is also quite a difference in HUE take for example, Maybank signage and the reflected ......and so on....

Yes, sometimes is really strange and I also can't really understand.....

My take is that the water is murky to begin with, hence the difference in hue. But its just my personal opinion only. :)

Great shots bro. Keep up the good work!

nice composition here...good job..
And I reckon it is pretty difficult to compose this shot looking at the position you are at when setting this shot..
nonetheless, well attempt!

Reshooting this again and thinking about how else I can do this, I tried to reshoot at an even earlier timing to see what I could get. I realise this allows me to push a far more abstract look at it and the sun just happened to be behind the top of one of the columns allowing me to leave the corridors in shadows to emphasise the relationship between the lines and playing with the shadows and highlights of the scene.

Finally went to this popular place on a day when the Sun was setting in the direction where block 208 is pointing. Single frame and manually blended taken on Pentax K5+Sigma 10-20.
