Guys, When is the IT show start for the coming March ?

hi hi

as mentioned, a d60 kit with spare cash (or a 50/1.8) or a d90 kit or even a used d80 with (another) headache when choosing lenses (18-200 as mentioned is good)

however, one question seems relevant nowadays - do u need/ like video function?

why buy from IT show at RRP when you can save a bit of money buying from normal shops like ms color or alan photo?

as for the d60 since is without an onboard focusing motor on the cam body unlike the d80/90, please take note that it does not auto-focus with the AF-D 50mm f1.8 / f1.4, so no choice have to manual-focus.

Save another $400 and get the D300. Save another $1.5K more and get the D700. Awesome cameras for the price. The choice is yours.

D90 would be a good buy.... much better specs over the D60....
but you have to stretch your budget a bit if you go for the D90....

if you choose D60, you will be left with quite a big sum to get things like flash, tripod and other lenses....
the package from nikon now gives a free tripod, but i wouldn't want to trust the durability too much....

i have test using my friend D90-kit set,is very good buy.:thumbsup::thumbsup:

As many have said, D90 would be a good choice. However, it would stretch your budget a bit and you also need to consider other things such as flash, tripod, digicabi.

D60 is not a bad camera, the major problem that I see is that it doesn't have AF-Motor. But, Nikon, Tamron and Sigma are coming out with lenses with motors. I don't think it would be a very big problem nowadays. Of course, there are more neat features on D90. No doubt about that. :)

I myself has a D60, and I love it especially when traveling. :)

Just my opinion. :)

both are good, just helped my friend buy a D60, but the specs and focus of the D90 is really much better than the D60.
and the fact that super value for money 50mm f1.8 is usuable on the D90 makes the scale tip more to its side.

Get a d60-d90.
Get a d90 as recommended becasue d60 cannot drive alot of lenses except for the new ones.

I don't think you will get a good price from the IT show.. but maybe more freebies from them. But since Nikon are having sales... I don't think there is any different buying now or IT show :)
