It's just a feedback, it may be better if organisers wear something prominent (eg. a tag or Clubsnap t-shirt) so that newcomers can find the organisers who may be more helpful.

When there is gathering, regulars tend to crowd around friends they know. And newcomers tend to be left alone and will feel a bit out of place. Hope this info will help.

As the group is big, we some time can't cater to everyone. But I think newcomers should not feel shy to mingle around. We are all friendly people and of course we all share the same passion which is photography. That is how the social circle grows. Even in photoshoot, when you know no one, just try to mingle around and who knows, you will find a few kakis.

Can be from 15yrs (if Dennis brings his son) to 50+yrs. It a wide range covering every segments

Usually those young ones will act old and old ones will act young :bsmilie::bsmilie::bsmilie:

Don't worry about age, it is all in the mind and the finger that clicks the shutter

stand and take notice....once see people with big big nikon cam and big long lenses.. just follow lorrrr!!!!

Fellow Nikon Users

Did a recce today and spoke to the Popeye outlet manager already

The place can hold 40 pax without problem (place big enough and still hav elots of room)

The Kopi Session this Fri 16 Jan is confirmed.


The location: Poppeye Chicken and Biscuit at the Singapore Flyer
This is on the ground floor facing the Marina Bay side.

What to look out for : Alot of Nikon cameras bags (the type you see at the service centre) cameras and ppl wearing Nikon T Shirts, inside the popeye outlet

Cost : Just buy a drink or you may order your dinner there (less than $10)
