nikon D700 from Malaysia

hi guys, recently came back from Malaysia found out the price is rather good. approx
SGD $2650plus . is it worth buying? Warranty is under Nikon Malaysia. :dunno:

price itself is good. if u are ok with sending it to service in Malaysia, it's worth it.

not to mention lenses are cheaper slightly in MY as well
and they're all international warranty . So do get some lenses too don't forget!

Not to mention that if servicing requires you to leave it in MY longer than a day. That means 2 trips or if you prefer extra lodging expenses.
Factor that in.

True. I hv bought stuff from Mee Too in JB n thats what they always offer. Never had.a problem before so cannot say that they will honour it.

time square got one Nikon service centre..take bus from larkin to KL RM39.. hehe

Local Best price i could get is around $3250. Nikon DSLR body is covered by local Nikon and is true for lenses do have international warranty.

Its definitely cheaper there, especially when you pay cash. However at times they do accept credit cards with no extra charges...

If you guys want to know the price of camera stuffs in MY, go to this website (http://www.shashinki.com/shop/) The prices are about 5-10% higher than cash price you pay from the cheapest shops in KL.

I have bought from them before. Very reliable and service is good.
