Do check out the Events/outings threads.. they are usually a number of outings for beginners and newbies everyweek...

For Marina shots + e 1st 2 cosplay shots, its using Tamron 17-50 f2.8 non-VC which i bought 2nd hand...
Then e last 2 shots are taken with 35mm f1.8

thx thx... that was my 1st try at nite urban landscape photography

Vr confuse now...
now using on 18-55 kit lense. want to change to a longer zoom lense.
1. should i get 18-105mm and sell away 18-55mm
2. or just get 55mm-200mm lense..

if budget is not tight why not getting 18-200mm vrII ?

haha if include e 17-55 kit lens, i have a total of 4 lens
1)nikkor 17-55 kit
2)tamron 17-50 f2.8
3)nikkor 35 f1.8
4)nikkor 55-200

It depends on what u want actually... if u dun mind switching lens for different purposes, then just get 55-200 or 55-300... If u want convenient, then get a 18-200, nikkor or tamron

i cannot rly remember, coz close to 9 months liao... ard 450-500 2nd hand? but now a brand new one now costs less than 600 now
