i just buy my nikon d5k on feb 2010. i'm very enjoy using it.
anyway i just want advice from all of u. is this lens compatible for my nikon d5k?

>> Hey, I dun think this is compatible with the D5000. I mean it can't AF with this lens. U need the 70-300 f/4.5-5.6 AF-S VR instead. D5000 can only use AF-S lenses of Nikkor. Tamron and Sigma, u need a HSM type.

You can also try the B&S section here. You can strike quite a good deal sometimes. Although most of the lenses sold are used, many of them are still in reasonably good condition.

can lah...just that u say got prob mah...so suggest u use the program lor...
the SD card is just a media of storage...any card reader can extract the file from it liao...

just check out this site....it gives a list of the nikkor lens that D5k can use and their limitation(for non AF-S and AF-I)

The below lenses have motors in them and will autofocus on any Nikon camera including the D40, D40x, D60, D3000, and D5000. The will, of course, autofocus on any other Nikon as well. There may be a few more released in the last few weeks that I have not listed. All new Nikons will. All newly released Sigma, Tamron and Tokinas will as new are released or updated. You have to look for the words HSM on Sigma or BIM on Tamron. I'm not sure what letters are used on Tokina.
