relax lah....as long as u dun do the Lens set at AF...and u manually turn the focus ring...that is destruction...
I did it during my 1st day also...cos nvr read manual...than after read manual...realise CANNOT do it lens set at AF, and manual turn focus ring....after that..I have been a good student...everyday read the manual...haha...

Anyway, I was using my friend's D5000 the other day, while on Live View, the focusing seems rather slow, taking around 1.5 to 2 seconds I estimate?

hahaha, thats like err focusing in live view is slow, some times takes ages, even worse in low light, for suited lV focusing refer to page 42 hahaha
No I didn't memorise my friend's manual! :sweat:

It just says that the exposure will be metered again when shutter is pressed, no? Doesn't elaborate on the part about the light entering the viewfinder and interfering with exposure leh. :think:
