heh... for the heck of it, i found my old receipt for my 70-200... the new VR2 is almost $700 more than VR1...

think i am going to be one of the rare ones hanging on to the older VR1... :sweatsm:

I believe sooner or later the lens will flood the market due to high demand. Any field reports of this lens so far. I am thinking of buying this big monster to fit onto my small monster D50.

you need the AF-S VR 200-400mm f/4G IF-ED to achieve that
