we were there for the shootout.. but the 80-200 didnt show up until rather late.. (due to unforseen circumstances).. so we will arrange for another one.. soon..

perhaps.. will not wait for tang.. will just borrow someone's 80-200 and do a side by side.. then we can just do it..

if no one available, we will use beachboy's 80-200.. if he will allow me.. hehe..

you still need to ask me to borrow 80-200 meh ? of cause can lar so when wana try again ?

Nice.. thanks.. Hope you had fun testing the lens.. looks like VR does work.. there is some noticable shake though.. but at 1/4.. phewwit.. that awesome..

Dont rush the upgrade.. the 80-200 AF-D ED can still do lots of great stuff.. the one advantage of the 70-200 is the VR.. and AFS..

Thanks for the advise ... i will stick to the 80-200 first for few month .. untill i cant resist the temptation then i will buy the 70-200VR

ya foget to meantion that the auto focus also really fast ..... this lens really good for sport.

I hope so too.. the one lens I am looking at VR in is the 300 f/4 AFS.. then that lens will be awesome too..

Dont think the price will be affordable.. and since I dont shoot much sports.. i dont think it will be necessary for me.. though f4 maybe slow for sports..

All lenses have moving parts inside.. as for the moving VR components.. I have the 70-200 IS USM for about 3 years.. no problem..
