The 35mm 1.8G is for DX bodies while the 50mm 1.8G is built for FX bodies. Nikon FX bodies now are D700, D3 series and the new D4. Go read up on full frames and crop frames. Of course, there are also other factors like image quality and focusing speed.

35mm is wider than 50mm thats why the subject or the people look smaller. 50 is 75mm equivalent on dx body which is good for shoulder up to the head shot while 35 is 52mm on dx body, good for group shot and street photography. Both have different purpose and advntage. It really depends on your shooting needs.

The difference between 35mm and 50mm is....

.
15mm :bsmilie:
image when shot with 50 vs 35 is more magnified and covers a smaller area (narrower picture angle).

any different between 35 mm and 50 mm on D7000?

what you mean by angle of view? with 50mm , i am able to take nice photos with Bokeh effect. will 35 mm do the same?

If you are good, you can always use depth of field to achieve the results that you are after.

I believe it is a good idea for you to pick up a lens catalogue, a beginners guide book or materials found here in ClubSnap to aid you in your understanding.

Seems like you don't quite understand about focal lengths and crop factor. The 35mm lens will give you a 52.5mm view on the D7000 because this camera has a 1.5x crop sensor. Similarly, the 50mm lens is also subjected to this crop factor which will give a 75mm view. Comparing these two figures (52.5mm and 75mm), the 52.5mm is a wider view and you will be able to capture more subjects. The 75mm view is more zoomed in and narrower in view. If you still don't get it do read up more :). And yes, both will give nice bokeh effect depending on your shooting conditions.
