NIkon 35mm F/1.8 G

I think... after reading that passage, that the term 'standard' or 'normal' in reference to lenses should be cast aside :)

ya.. 2 of the most abused terms in photography world.

Wah. Later xin tong. Haha. But i guess if intending to switch to FX its worth it

But you have to ask yourself if you are on FX will you use the 35 prime? FOV similar to 24mm on DX.

If you do, then get it. If not just stick to 35/1.8. You can easily sell the 35/1.8 when you upgrade to FX.

 point there. Forgot abt tt. Haha. 多谢指教. Sry if the words r wrong. Hehe

Bought it in Shanghai. For this particular lens, it is cheaper to buy in Shanghai than in HK. The lens is made in Nikon's China factory close to Shanghai. Less transportation= cheaper price.

Remember to check prices for each area before going there. There are price guides for both China and HK. Google for the links.

hahah good job...
can't say "won't regret" la... each person has different tastes. For me, I only use the 35/1.8 about 5-10% of the time.

I am using my 35/1.8 less and less. Maybe I should just sell it..

but you just got it not long ago... :)
well, if you really don't use it, not point leaving it as a white elephant in your cabinet.

I used it mainly for low light and street shots!! Since I used it with D40x, people were not aware that I was taking shots of them.

Previously, I used 70-200/2.8 VR and 17-55/2.8 for street shots and people were looking at me if I took the shots of them (because of this, so many times I dared not to take the street shots).

This 35mm give me that chance and I am very happy to take street shots!!

Please see my photos for 35mm at (jspkt2005 @ www.flickr.com) :bsmilie:
