nikon 28mm f1.8

Your photos let me have more interested on the sigma 20mm f1.8D :)

PLease know that the Sigma 20 is a very different lens from the 24mm... There are some inherent weakness in the lens design, while it makes it up with very good IQ when used in the right way.

Noted.

Because I have the 24-70mm f2.8G, just add weight only.

Not that it matters, or affects the image quality or anything, but just out of curiosity, may I ask is the lens MIC or MIJ? Thanks in advance for the info.

the one i saw was MIC.

Hi Guys, I am wandering if the 28mm 1.8G will have the same sharpness and DOF compare with the 28-300mm 3.5-5.6G.
Thinking of buying one but if the performance is identical then I dont see the point.
Someone for advise please.

One is F3.5 and one is F1.8. Of course one gives you thinner DoF when shot wide open.

hmmm... I find my Sigma 24 extremely acceptable...

Err... is it just me or does this lady in the photo looks out of proportion? Like head big big, body small small like that.

In my excitement, I shot too close too high... that plus the huge head-dress and ornaments didn't help...

Can't be helped, it's quite normal as moving too close to the subject tend to be a bit distorted.

Just done my some FX Lens comparison here on wide open and hope your will like.

I cant wait to lay me hand on 1 copy...:(

To add-on;
is it just me or?
the Nikkor AF-S 24-70 F/2.8 http://i203.photobucket.com/albums/aa118/kimsim1/FX Lens Compare/24-70mm_0889.jpg seem to be 'sharper' than the Sigma 14mm http://i203.photobucket.com/albums/aa118/kimsim1/FX Lens Compare/14mm_0900.jpg
