If a cast is intentional, the picture will speak of it. I do not see a picture based on it's technicalities unless necessary, if the image doesn't suit what I feel it's supposed to, I will pick on it.

The green casts simply doesn't help in the shots and I can tell it's not the green surrounding that overpowered nor gave the impression that the whites are whites. Definitely not an optical illusion to me.

I don't know about dropper tool but this is the image I would have wanted to see if the colours are correct. Just for the sake of a healthy discussion.

Sometimes it's better to keep quiet and be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt - Watcher's signature.

I also not pro leh. I don't even PP. I just copy the files out and send to lab ask them to correct for me.

Don't get too tied up on the images la... I was just proving a point only.

I used PS to correct the colours, but I don't know if you saw what I intended you to, because my office machine is not calibrated and too lazy to pull out my Mac from my bag to edit the image

lol, my office LCD sucks big time too.... Yeah I can see the difference on the whites now.

The colors look more live like if i am right to say..

Hehe... Juz got mine yesterday evening... 6pm 2b exact. Got it from Lords for $1260. Called them up in e afternoon n they had 1. So I reserved it. Been playin w it till now... haha... can't sleep. :bsmilie:

It focuses damn fast n e minimum focusin distance for mine is somewat less than 0.5m. Oh yeah... e VR is juz superb n itz noiseless too.

Got it from Lords but it is out of stock islandwide for the moment. I am pretty happy with it especially with the VR function. I think people with this lens can attest to it.
