How abt the Sigma 10-20mm....
It has 2mm more wide and at 10mm there is a sorta fisheye effect too...
Think of it this way..
1) 2mm more than other wide angle lenses
(Dont say abt the Canon 10-20.. Nikon dont have..)
2) a bit of the Fisheye effect
3) Zoom lens (Better than the prime Nikon 10.5mm)
Just a suggestion... hehe... Am happy with my 10-20mm lens![]()
wide angles like 10-20, 12-24 images compare to fisheye are totally diff..Unless you talk about the new fisheye zoom.
10-20 is not bad,but i feel restricted to 15mm (10x1.5)
On the other hand, the 12-24 gives me the freedom to go full 12mm on film whenever assignments require..And the 12-24, if you find a good copy, it is facinating.
Din keep the 10-20, keeping my wide gears to just 2x 12-24mm and 2 fisheyes![]()
Ultra wides all have some amount of this type of distortion.FE really looks fun.
but when i look through some of the defished pics, can really see even after nikon capture DI, some of the subjects looks distorted.
eg, look at the lenses on the right posted by mazdadan.
i hate such distortions.![]()
