Currently every Nikon item is more expensive in Singapore than in Japan and it will get cheaper in Japan too. You can get it already cheaper if you don't buy it from Amazon Japan directly (Amazon Japan Market Place) but I prefer the peace of mind.

the AFS 18-35mm is also available in our neighbour country across the cause way for sightly above rm2000, works out to be s$800+.

If im not wrong, Lens have international warranty, so If we buy from overseas, we still can get it repaired in sg right?

Yo,

standard few shops in KL, but they do have certain lead time. When my friend was there they had a piece reserved for customer. Also, ShashinKi has them too, also a few days of lead time when I contacted them through email.

Nonetheless, hold your breath... it IS FINALLY COMING TO SINGAPORE THIS WEEK!

Expected ETA: Wednesday in shops!
