Convergence

Profound. Absolutely brilliant
As someone who loves leading lines into the photograph, this one is right at the top. Super

Bro,
Sorry for the OT.
How do you plan for such a shot ? As in, do you have an idea that "I want to shoot converging lines" and then go look around for such a shot OR as you walk around you see something that catches your eye and you say "Yes. This is convergence. Lemme shoot it."

I know of some photographers who fall into the former category and some into the latter. The former research their locations, sometimes to the extent of going day after day, month after month looking for that right location, right moment before they shoot that photograph.

Cheers.

This is so  I think I will also do a LRT series soon. ;)
Heh, thanks bro! =)

No problem.

Oh, no, I don't plan any of my shots, the only planning I do is where I want to shoot, and I shoot anything that catches my eye. =) And of course the timing is important, I find the light in the morning and late afternoon much more palatable than the kind at mid-day, way too harsh even if there are nice clouds.

Thanks man. I once met a Polish entrepreneur on a plane and when we chatted, I found we had one common interest. That's when he took out his expensive Mamiya camera (I don't even know what model it was - all I know is that they are pretty darn expensive :bsmilie:), showed me a photograph and said "I spent more than a year to create this photograph". It was a photograph of a forest near his home. I almost fell off my chair :bsmilie:

I suppose in other countries their situation is very different. Though Singapore also has stuff to play around with. But less, I guess due to the nature of the climate. Many of the landscape photographers whose books I read return to a same place again and again to make sure the position of the sun is where they want it during the sunset , it moves, etc. And that the mood is what they want, based on the season, etc.

Singapore's sun does move, I'm pretty sure of it. =D But as to where it should be, places like the reservoirs to me, doesn't really matter.
