Thank you Nemo2003, Dni423 & Jack-D for your comment & viewing. :)

Wah! Swee...:thumbsup::thumbsup:

D5000 is really impressive. Guess I'll go for D5000 instead of D90 & save $$$ to invest AF-S lenses.;)

Nemo2003, so you decide on the D5000, well you made a good choice.

beautiful night shots!! :)

Sad to hear your 5 yrs old tripod has give way. You must have use it very often. What tripod brand are you having currently?

Nice set of pictures you got there. I was eyeing at this camera also, but I can I get the same result or something closer using the kit lens?

Bro, there's no way a 16-85 IQ can be matched by a 18-55. It's like comparing apples to tomatoes

Thank you. Since you're eyeing on it and if it suits your need then go for it. It's a good & excellent DSLR, I didn't regret it after downgrading from D200. As what Dodongdodong says is right, there's no way a 16-85 IQ can be matched by a 18-55 but you can try it out and see if the shots from the kit lens to compare with 16-85 shots.

I would love to see the comparison. :)

All of these awesome shots is not because of the D5000, it's the MAN BEHIND THE CAMERA. Thanks to Zola70 for sharing. Appreciated.:thumbsup:

Hi , I think you've made those haven't been there to think all these statues are BIG !!!
BTW was there last nite and found out all these statues are merely < 6 ft minus the platform height ... haha ...
Anyway great snaps and will go there again with proper lense ... cheers

Yes, those statues are not very big and you need at least a 30mm lens or higher in order to capture them like it's very big size.

Zola Bro,

you are my inspiration to keep shooting! Really great set of photos you have there :)
