Just heard from Sony wisma staff that the nex lens stock will come in 3rd 4th week of August ....... So another long wait for the vouchers holders

But just went to Paragon SONY STYLE and the fella says that they dun have NEX 5 Accessories yet.

Anyway its probably just that outlet that doesn't i guess.

Sony says by Aug all their accessories and lenses (less the 18-200) should be available.
But just need to know when in Aug :bsmilie:
In anycase, I have noticed the NEX camera bags and leather holders are all easily available as is the Nex 3 and Nex 5. So the rest should follow. So far no news on their lens road map for other lenses though. I think their range short of 2 more, a 24-30mm prime with < f2 and an 80mm+ <f/2 portrait lens to make the "basic" set complete. The others would be bonuses

That would defeat the purpose of the low price and small size. Afterall, their main target are PnS upgraders. I would think a more logical approach is a "value" sony glass series and a "premium" CZ range.

the kit lens 18-55 alone is already like CZ quality on A-mount, i wonder what will happen if CZ optics are mount on NEX

Not yet, but I know several companies are beavering away at this right now. I think Sony themselves are caught a bit off-guard by the NEX success.

Anybody knows the rear lens caps available already? My poor 16mm sleep in the dry cabinet without rear cap.
