Anybody knows the rear lens caps available already? My poor 16mm sleep in the dry cabinet without rear cap.

If you had bought the lens separately, it comes with a rear lens cap. If it came with the camera and is the only lens you have, then it's time to buy the 18-55mm or wait a while more and buy the 18-200mm which will even come with a body cap.

Just got the nex 5 hard screen protector at Ms color, stock I heard left 20 pieces, also the casing for the 18-55, mic and the 16mm view finder are also available ...

I bought the twin lens kit. 2 lens and only 1 rear cap. After I bought My M adaptor, my poor 16mm sleep without pants on.

Retail price is 299 I tin should be able to get cheaper tat view finder is onli meant for 16mm lens..

MS Color says they sold the few pieces they had. Got to wait 4 weeks for new stock.

Why not leave your name at one of the Sony shops to call you when the stock is in. That's what I did. They told me probably somewhere in August they will restock everything. The camera and its accessories are v popular worldwide at the moment. Wonder what the overall sales levels are hmm.

Hi Guys,

Anyone bought the RMT-DSLR1 Remote Commander? Does it trigger the shutter immediately after pressing the button?

It triggers the shutter almost immediately. Almost because of focus before trigger. Lag is more obvious under low light condition.

Sony original hard LCD protector is available at CP Marina Sq @ S$15. Bought 1 yesterday.
It's irony that all Sony Centre I've been say that the hard LCD protector is OOS island wide. CP Marina Sq also got no stocks last week, but apparently they had their stocks replenished. Wonder where they got their stocks.

mine put $120 but was given price of $99.

Doubtful as I was, there were ppl selling @ $99 during that time. and the batt was an original too :dunno:

if you guys want OEM versions, check out the usual HK/china sellers on ebay. i just got mine 2wks ago for abt $30. and it works just fine, even can be charged on the original sony charger without problems.
