Nam Xing Hokkien Prawn Noodle
Hainanese Village Centre (Lorong Ah Soo Market)

I just love the hokkien mee here :bmsilie: maybe it's because I eat for this stall since I was a kid.
This hawker centre was so near my house and there are a lot of nice food yet I have no time to take the food photo from here :(

Guan Chee Roasted Duck Rice
Hougang Ave 1 Blk 106

1 of my favorite roasted duck stall. The meat was juicy and tender, the skin was crispy!!! The only downside for me is this plate of drumstick rice cost me $7.50....
(I packet the duck rice and do the photo shoot at home)

Really i-Like your i-Cooked, simple yet so appetizing. Was viewing your thread with my boy who loves instant noodles and this particular one really got his attention: "where is i-Cooked? Shall we try?" :bsmilie:

Lor Mee (鹵麵)
i-Cooked

I regretted adding the pepper for this shot... Looks disturbing...:(

Went to try out the Malaysia Boleh at Jurong Point. Just like the Malaysia food street in RWS, they have a few stall selling Malaysia famous foodies.
Super long queue for every stall so I only manage to take 2 fast shot :(
The plate they use don't really suit for photography. Looks oily :bsmilie"

Food was nice but I still felt that RWS food street taste better.

lor ba looks good ! But love your i-cooked Lor Mee better ! Superb shots!

For food photography, I found an interesting tips from Nugene Chiang.

"To give your photos a vintage or ‘softer’ feel, you can even try backlighting the dish with natural light so as to create a ‘washed out’ effect."
I saw this on Canon EOS World

TIme to eat

Thanks for sharing!! Agreed with the backlighting part but disagree on the vintage part. May be I got the wrong idea but if the vintage feel is something like the "instagram" effect, then I feel that the food photo will look less appetizing. :)
