Need to apply more pressure.

ok will try that. you think damp cloth can work?

Just wondering... on CPL filters, lenstip puts Marumi Super DHG on the same level as B + W...

but it cost 2x less! O.O

Is this a little too good to be true?

True. Problem is, I have been searching for Marumi Super DHG CPL in SG and China for 2 years. Yet to find it.

The Toki at 11mm will even vignette with Cokin p series wide angle filter holder. Have to go to 100mm filters.

I dun there's such ND Fader in the cheaper brands right? I guess it would be better for me to get them (ND filters) individually...

btw, is there some "pouch carrier" for filters that i could take a look like? carrying little boxes around is kinda inconvenient.

Lowepro has one I think, but it can't fit thick filter thread like ND Fader I think.

I just bought it from cathay photo. Only $16 for 8 filter slots

OP has the superDHG, nv check their CPL pricing, but their 67mm UV is ard 50, not as good as online prices.

personally i only have experience with the DHG(non-super) UV and CPL. i say they are really good value filter. the DHG is as good as the hoya/ken Pro1 while the superDHG are said to be even better in terms of oil/dust repellent... etc.
another good point is, even their DHG range offer slim profile rim with front thread for use of normal lens cap.

It would be really good if someone is able to provide a review on how oil repelling and scratch resisting is the superDHG.

I bought the super DHG uv from Stanley at OP a couple of weeks back. But they told me they did not have the cpl then. Not sure about now though.

my cam was dropped ang the uv filter was broken. yesterday i went to funan and bought a replacement from John 3:16. He gave me emolux high light transmission dlp ultraviolet lens protector (slim). I asked if it's multicoated and the guy there said yes and also it's already of cheap price. I bought a 67mm at S$45 and 52mm at S$20. And after reading this page, i feel really terrible. Please help on what should I do about it. I'm a tourist here and will leave on 8 May. This needs to be resolved before I leave or it would leave a bad impression on the store. thank you.

Er... if you feel you are cheated. You can only do two things, go back to the shop and reason with them... see what they have to say. I have very good impression on John 3:16, bought a number of items from them (even my 7D)... or you can lodge a complain with CASE (although I doubt this will do much).

You can go back and ask to trade up the filter to a better one. And say you get terrible flare and ghosting. Sorry to hear about this. Do not feel too bad about it though, you over paid by $20-30. Still not that bad compared to other victims.

Hi. thank you very much for your advice. I went to John 3:16. I cordially said that they might have mistaken the about the price and have given me the price of Hoya or Kenko. After showing him the receipt, he said he's sorry for giving me the emolux for the price of Hoya. He replaced the two filters with Hoya HMC multicoated filter UV (C). Before I left Funan, I dropped by Alan Foto and ask for the price of Hoya. Both stores are of same price range but with a slight difference. This time, I felt confident that I got what I paid for, shouldn't I?

You need to sign up (pay membership) with CASE in order to lodge a complaint. Not anyone can do it, that's why many shop are still chopping people.
