Make friend with CP. Since they are the distributer for Tokina, they would know first when it is coming :thumbsup:

I'm waiting for the 16-50 too. Can't afford the Nikkor 17-55 lah :bsmilie:
 

Me too.. Likely to get the Tokina 16-50mm f2.8.. The Canon 17-55mm f2.8 IS USM price is also too shocking :bigeyes:

im also interested with this 16-50. hope it's in the market soon! nikkor 17-55 is so expensive.
 

The Tokina 17-135mm F3.5-5.6 looks like a good range for a light all-in-one DSLR lens for general use. Any estimation on the cost? Any other brands having this similar range worth considering?

Sigma already have a 18-125/3.5-5.6 lens which is a good performer. Not much difference from the Tokina one as far as focal range is concerned. Probably will be alot cheaper too :)
