The grip only has room for one batt. So that plus the one in the cam is a total of 2 batts. You can set priority of which batt to drain first. When it's draining the battery in the battery grip there are the letters "BG" below the indicator. It works as per normal going from 3 bar to 1 bar. When the batt is drained, it changes to the batt in the cam. You see 3 bar again but wo the BG letters

Question on TimeLapse using GH3:

In the Time Lapse function, what is the definition of time interval ?

I know if we set the interval to say 3 secs, the GH3 will snap one picture every 3 secs.

The problem is if I were to do a long exposure shot Time Lapse and if each snap of the long exposure takes 10 secs and I set the interval time to 3 secs, will the GH3 hangs ?

Will the GH3 takes one photo AFTER the 10 secs long exposure shot ? Or will it snap 3 photos during the 10 secs long exposure time and thus gets hang after a while ?

Just a heads up to all GH3 users who have lost the eyecup/piece for the EVF, you can order a replacement by dropping an email to SERVICE@ma.panasonic.com.sg

Mine fell off during an outdoor shoot recently. Good news is that it's farily inexpensive (think I'll order two). Bad news is that it'll take a while to get here! So, if you want to order a spare or replacement, now might be a good time, since they'll be ordering for me.
