i google a bit. it say this f1.8f cannot be reverse and use as a 'poor man' micro len?

just use it with raynox 250 lo =x.. so call budget macro

To be fair, I've heard some pretty complimentary feedback about Nikon Service Centre as well.
Maybe you can take up your case with a feedback email to Nikon Service Centre directly.
I think they would consider your feedback seriously if you provide thorough and accurate information.

I did. The email or feedback went totally ignored. They just kept quiet. So I would say don't think about the warranty. It doesn't
make a diff.

$120 for new 1 if im not wrong and a used 1 cost +/- 100

i already got one haha... bokeh is way better than the old fifty
1.8G is very usable and very sharp, used it as portrait lens, i can count pores on the models face
the old fifty has this glowing effect when used on 1.8f which is something i really hate
