The non-pro dry cab need you to adjust the power knob by trial and error until it stabilize on your desire %RH.

Different dry cab may have different setting. My setting for knob is around 9o'clock. The RED LED is turn on, and the GREEN LED is dimmed. From environment humidity (~80%RH), it take around 1-2 days to stabilize. Check, if your knob fully turn to left, the GREEN LED will off. Fully turn to right, the GREEN LED will on. Set GREEN LED to dimmed.

Arto.

As also quoted in another thread. My AD-60 do not any green LED, only RED. When i turn the knob to H region, LED will turn off, other than that, it's red LED, even at the L region to the extreme. Either side within the M zone, dunno y my RH keeps dropping to below 40%.

Hmmm..., even when RED LED off the RH still dropping below 40%? If no GREEN LED, you can assumed RED LED as a power indicator (in my case, GREEN LED).

Is it jump (I mean no transition) between off and on of the RED LED? If jump, it most probably the knob (potensiometer) is broken.

Another solution is to put timer on the inlet of electricity, allowing only several hours perday (and you also get lower power consumption for dry cab).

Yah...this evening when i got home from work, it was 31%. Strange.

The RED LED on constantly on with no flickering whatsoever. When i opened up the cabinet, can feel that it was a bit cooler than usual, being 31%.

No, not flickering. I mean, can you reduce (dimmed) intensity of RED LED? If not, or jump (turn on and off suddenly when you turn the knob), you better ask your dry-cab manufacturer. It could be the potensiometer knob faulty.

IIRC for Dry-cabi is 5years warranty.

Well in the manual it doesn't state anything abt red LED dimming. It's just on and off. It states that when it's on, it is stil trying to reach the desired RH as set by the knob. But since 4 days ago until now, the red LED has not turned off.

nope its fine...i got mine at ard the same price too $160 :)
