Natalie (first studio shoot by RFSG)

Actually not the sharpening but the fill light a bit too strong I think, next time we can talk a bit about photoshop DI like how to make the skin smoother yet retain the details.

Cool... I sucks at PP. Haha... thanks bro. Let me know how the M3 experience goes tom k?

O.K....while waiting to develop the films...here are some shots using M8.2, some with studio flash @ f8 or f11, others just available light wide open. Lenses used: 75mm Summilux, 50mm Summilux ASPH & 35mm Summilux ASPH

When Sim4Nee SMS me on the same morning that the original planned model has high fever...I was wondering how is the look of the model going to turn up...when sweet Natalie turn up....oh my goodness... she is young and gorgeous.....so the subject is ready and I know that the rest is our skill.

We did some initial warm up shoot with available light while waiting for the studio to open, everyone took out their "weapon" and started firing...after 15 mins late the studio finally opened and Master Sim as usual go through the basic studio lighting theory with the students.

Nice shots bro! Was looking forward to your post. I think we both saw Natalie in a different light. Yours - the youth Nat n mine, a more matured look.

Btw, did you make problem with the flash sync? I had problem with both my first two MF rolls. The flash didn't seem to fire together. Only the last roll worked nicely.

Look like you guys had great fun! Kudos to Sim and Dan!

I especially like Thomas and Imaji pictures!

Thomas shots are very natural and glowing! I really like Imajis' 3rd shot (OOF with black singlet.)

Like her expression captured for the first shot and nice composition for the second one, I forgot to pay you for the TX400 I took from you during the shoot, will return one roll back to you next time when I meet you. Thanks a lot. :D

Great shots Thomas, I particularly like this one. Well done.

It looks like you guys had a lot of fun!

Thank you, Meven...you have been shooting alone? Do SMS us if you need some shooting companies...:D

Guys, any studio setup shots? Interested to see gear....:)

Dan, the set up was actually quite simple. We basically played around with a monobloc.
However, at the end, we had a healthy discussion on how to improve this Lighting 101 session as well other environments to practise more creative lighting. Sim will be able to tell you more. :)

Do SMS us if you need some shooting companies...:D

Be careful though...the shooting company are very poisonous

(mumbles something about checking out M3s and RolleiFlexes) ;p
