Did these nun + holy mineral water pictures get into any controvesy?

Kinda a lil bit, a bit of controversy is good. It either move up or down from there, it's a gamble. I believe many may remember Wacoal series of print ads which copy was like" nice jugs', "great melons" and stuff. many woman spoken against it and says it was too shallow. I personally felt that the ad make publicity, make no qualms about it.

In mine, well, A nun drinks "pure" mineral water, house visits with them, a holy water bowl with "pure". It never meant to degrade religion, rather for people to speak about, and create the hype, and publicity would be self generated. Mineral water brands in Singapore is one too many. They taste almost the same anyway. What we need here is a "top of the mind" recall, compared to the widely known "ice montain" perhaps. Something to own a further share of the market. Look at "Evian", they've done great ads.

I see... I get what you mean. I got a little shock when I first saw it. I think its something that really grabs attention as an ad. Successful in that sense. :thumbsup:

Just a thought, which church is going to allow you to put a fake nun in and shoot anyway?

Get a camera that'll allow you to change customise grey balance, not white balance. or try post production with hue/ saturation, curves and blend...

Get a camera that'll allow you to change customise grey balance, not white balance. or try post production with hue/ saturation, curves and blend...

Set up a looker as a nun is very intriguing or even disturbing. :thumbsup:
But IMHO, the colour nail polish arrgh..... No more mystery for me in a second - a bit of waste.

I mean when you shot in the church, is that how the lighting actually is? you'd need some dust in the air to get a well defined light beam?

Here's more contribution.

For this first pic, wow I really love it. Sorta brought out the theme where a female is drunk because of some love affiar etc. Nice!!

For the second one, I was wondering, are there any editing done for this pic? Or it is just as it was taken? Newbie here, trying to learn. ;p

pbs, as always your pictures are truly inspiring. but as I look at the earlier picture of the nun for the bottled water ad, can't help but think casting a model with less chubby face would be better.
