Very impressive.... I wish i had the time to find subjects to shoot myself... busy with my studies to devote my time to what i really like... portraiture photography.

What i learnt from looking thru all 13 pages of these thread sorta gives a confirmation to how i shoot too. When you shoot tight, you shoot really tight, no background distraction and you get straight to the point. When you shoot wide, it is wide enough to see the background. The background has lot of relevance and interest and anchors the model. Really really impressive enviromental portraiture...

I think i got the tight shooting part done, the wide background look is something i have always been trying to do but i have not found a suitable model/backdrop yet....

i respect pbs man, his/her shots solid.
almost typed psb.

its a he....hahah

and he's speaking in montage hahaha

hi.. bumping this up again... ha haha.. btw cedric, i saw one of your works in some bridal mag... the background is some motif or something.. really nice.. the mag concept also uses that theme... is it a set up (background) or isit some hotel or someplace??:dunno:

How did you achieve these shots? Care to share? From lighting the subject to the post works. I would like to know more about how to get the finishes like these. They are very nice.

looked thru your pictures posted... most if not all will fail as a image without psing :bsmilie:
