hi.. bumping this up again... ha haha.. btw cedric, i saw one of your works in some bridal mag... the background is some motif or something.. really nice.. the mag concept also uses that theme... is it a set up (background) or isit some hotel or someplace??:dunno:

I kinda forgot this one already though.... think it's bliss magazine or something like that... Yup, some fabric/ curtain I bought, and then shot it in studio... Good to know it passes off as something flashy....

Thanks a lot....

How did you achieve these shots? Care to share? From lighting the subject to the post works. I would like to know more about how to get the finishes like these. They are very nice.

I taught quite a few people regarding this shot already though... Basically it's feathering & curve in photoshop, in production was air brush/ hair make up... but this trend in retouching this way is over amd done... Keep looking out for newer trends....

looked thru your pictures posted... most if not all will fail as a image without psing :bsmilie:

That's true, and that's why wedding and events won't be my cup of tea, I think I suck at it if I ever venture that way.... Cheers to the guys keeping that industry alive and be freakin good at it!!!

All of us in studio have a way of working with each other without saying too much too each other... I leave you to figure out what I'm trying to say though.... but in short, the whole team gel well, produces great stuff(I think).... Too many people involved in a simple work like what you've seen... Ain't just mine like I mentioned many many times... I shot it, somebody else did hair/make up, somebody else contributed to post production work, a capable helper to make sure no lightings went wrong, a producer to do liasons with clients and of course wonderful clients who believed and approved our works to be featured in commercial works.... Team's effort, and it's in us to be producing on works we call our own...

Have you seen his pre-PSed works to make this comment?
How do you know how it looked like before PS?
Bear in mind that without a good org image to start with, the final image will still sucks even after PSing.

I've seen the lighting set up use by PBS to do his shoots as well as some raw images of the shoot during a course conducted by him. Without PSing the images do look good enough to be use for commercial jobs.

Basket, I thought this guy's saying PSing as in 'posing'.... Wa YQT..... what would I do without u my friend??? Anyway, this chap wouldn't know how I work...

If only:

1. Photoshop can help communicate with my models what they should do to achieve the look I wanted...

2. Photoshop can pre-determine my type of cross processing methods

3. Photoshop can help me set my lighting techniques I've learnt for the past 8 years

4. Photoshop can settle my casting woes and do my the perfect model for my shoot

5. Create my background(without me thinking), and I can just shoot models based on white background....

6. Can help me automatically determine my over/ under exposure

7. if only etc etc etc...

A.A., unless you think Photoshop can do all I mention, pls tell me where I can buy a version of it, I'm sure YQT would like to buy one too(at any cost)... Photoshop is for finer finishings for me as a working photographer, not for salvaging...

If you still doubt, I really welcome you to call me and visit me someday, I'm sure you''ll be enlightened what Photoshop didn't do for me.... but I would like to see what photoshop has done for you if photoshop was all it matters....

Cheers to all & YQT,

Thanks for taking interest in my images. Anyway, it ain't the camera, not bothered by the camera I use, rather the people I'm working the shoot with that has utmost importance.

well said.. i like your works too..;)

I think these are the ones...

Some really happy moments before they died from the TP ad... Really like these images, hope you liked them as much as I do... Fashion Images are merely interpretation of my work...What I really hope is that I get remembered for people photography...
