Hi guys,
I'm new here. Have a question regarding my S5. Can i take picture using ViewFinder then when picture taken, view the pic "Automatically" with the LCD display rather than pressing the DISP button to view the pic on LCD Display. I know some DSLR can do it but not sure if S5 have this function. Please advise as i've check through the manual doesn't show much. Thanks in advance.
Kind regards,
CalvinDarius
Of course you can. This is in fact the default setting for many compact cameras with LCD. You can set the camera to display the picture for x seconds after taking. Or you can switch to display mode to display the pictures and movies, using the switch next to the power on/off, not the display button. The display button is to toggle between LCD display on, display with settings, display off etc.
Dear All,
I just bought my S5 IS Today! Hey! Its motivating to see the pics you took.. and I hope I had a good buy!
Anyway, i wanted to take Portraits with my new camera.
Can anyone here advise me how to start taking good ones using this S5? I hope to achieve the subject clear and the background blur effect... tried but its not nice at all..
Anybody can advise?
Cheers!
thanx cerebrus.

Thanks for the explaination but don't think you quite understand or i might not be clear, heres how:
If i take a picture using ViewFinder, once picture taken, can i AUTO review in my LCD Display Automatically without the need of switching to Play Mode or press DISP Button to view the picture taken? Because if you're in ViewFinder mode, even if you set Review - Example for 4 secs, it will only show u the review in the ViewFinder "if" you're in the VewFinder mode or vice versa.

U can either try again when the weather is less sunny, or u can get a ND filter to stop down the light. I use my CPL as an ND filter sometimes =p
