Gyoza... so so. Skin is crispy, and juicy inside. But lack the taste that I had at Baikohken.

Seafood Okonomiyaki. Average.

Oden. Well, Chako definitely serves better Oden. This? not too bad for that price.

Curry Katsudon.
Okay, Ma Maison has better Katsudon, Curry Favour has better curry. Enough said.
And the rice is too soft, not defined. Kinda disappointed actually, since I'm a Katsudon man;p

And now, let's go to the desserts. Menu looks pretty promising.

Mango pudding. Not bad!

Chocolate cake.
I must say this is the best food I had at this place.
This cake is definitely to die for, the chocolate is thick and smooth, cake texture is fine.
A MUST TRY!

just got back from lunch and seeing the mango pudding and cake got me craving for desserts

BTW, where's this place?

you can get better mango pudding at westmall mayim restaurant:)
but the cake is REALLY good.

The place is Ebisboshi Shotengai 惠比寿星商店街
at Iluma
the new shopping centre in Bugis

Dinner.
Been here a few times, the standard wasn't very consistent.
Well, not much choices at IMM anyway, so here goes:

First time I tried the noodles there (I am pretty particular about noodles, and never trusted those Hongkong style cafe's noodles).
As expected, below average. Except for the noodle's texture, it did not taste better than any instant noodle.

Asparagus Bacon roll revisited...
it got more saltish as compared to previous visit... seriously, the one sold at Takashima basement Yakitori counter has better taste now.

Claypot chicken rice revisited.
Standard maintained. Not a bad choice at this place.

OK, I have to give credit to this fried dumplings.
It tastes better than the Kopitiam's version.

Portuguese Stone Rice.
Average taste, it's a safe choice afterall.

Just curious..
Are you a paid photographer for their food shots or you're just a customer armed with a camera?

hi, no I seldom use flash in my food photos, too lazy to setup.
I use available lights, i.e. go to the brightest spot in the restaurant, and increase ISO if necessary.

But it'll definitely look nicer if you use off-shoe flash. :)
