MRT: reliably consistent

So when MRT get big profit..will ppl make noise that they get too much $$$$?

Don't really know what is you point and/or trying to bring forward here ?

My take is that for this type of company (ie primary purpose is to serving the general public), profit alone cannot be the only judging criteria to assess if the company is running properly or not. The other indicator (ie serving the general public) need to be there as well. If it is not there, then it is the LTA or the Ministry of Transport responsibility to ensure that they don't just focus on profit & forgo the rest (which to me is what they're doing for the past decade).

If they are able to do their main task well, who care if they have big profit.
If they just focus on profit & sacrifice the primary role of the company - that we can & should make noise.

We are now living an imperfect life with an imperfect MRT in an imperfect world.

Learn to get used to it. :)

High retrenchment for PMET... so everybody is hiring MONKEYS now!

Wow peanut will get more expensive as we now need more peanut to feed MONKEYS!

Are you saying that those retrenched PMETs have turned into monkeys? ....and they are now living among us in our HDB housing estates, working in MRT....no wonder so many breakdowns .........now I understand why Sion said that this is an imperfect world .........:bsmilie:

Bloody dictator. Here, they would have just asked for more money.

Even Mussolini couldn't keep the trains running on time all of the time... :)

I heard there were some other rocket...well missile failures today...whoa the imperfect world

Gee it must be hard on these rocket scientists and train managers... :bsmilie:

Remember...America First now. He is going to fire you if the wall doesn't stay on schedule! So naive and unpresidential...lol

Only trains that dude knows about are the ones he played with as a spoilt rich boy.

America on a train to nowhere...

Remember The Donald has bankrupted how many companies? The trains would have grafitti on them if he were in charge of MRT

The alternative would use the trains to smuggle drugs...

All he needs is a red loincloth for good Fengshui and safe and smooth operation of trains on time and every time. :bsmilie:

Even your body needs help in standing up one day. :bsmilie:

They make a pill for that...

So the solutions are:

Hire a German

Engage a Japanese

Get a Italian

and even a man from China or from UNCLE..

Horray.. the problem solved!

Listen to Fengshui Sensei and bring back the red loincloth everything will be fine. :bsmilie:

There's only three true sports in the world...mountain climbing, auto racing, and the red loincloth :bsmilie:

He should get a full year supply of the best red loincloth to protect him against evil spirits. :bsmilie:

they can pull the same stunt. Say not enough money or resource and get garmen to subsidize. Just like what did for buses, garmen had to buy more buses to support.
