Sadly, this is not the way things work.
"马路如虎口"。 As long as you use the public roads, you pose certain risk to other road users. Rather than complain about errant drivers, put more effort in making yourself a better driver, or better predestrian.

I'm also a full time bike rider and part time car driver for economic reasons as well like fireblade (i'm on the hurricane :sticktong )
I've seen my fair share of cars that cut into me (cutting parallel into me, not in front of me) as if I didn't exist on the road... When you horn them to warn them "HEY I'M HERE!" they give you the finger or stare.
Funny thing is.. when I trail them all the way to a traffic light.. i stop next to them and stare at them.. wave at them to wind down the window, tap on their window.. they jsut pretend to look straight.. knock on their window with my carbon fibre knuckles... at most it's just a quick glance. I just want an apology or some explanation, I'm a friendly guy.. :bsmilie:
Most drivers who act fierce on roads are only brave when they are travelling, hoping they wun have to face whoever directly. When you start to tail them out of the expressway, you'll see them trying funny things to shake you off.. Do U-Turns lah.. slow down at traffic light and speed up when turning amber.. bla bla bla.. all I can say is.. My tiny 400 is just a tad faster than most of the cars on the road...

if there's one thing i learnt from my stint in the army, it's this - Never play mother-father (aka. never insult or bring up the parents).Yildun said:In that context, no, my favourite is still KNNBCCB. And obviously, I dont know how u misinterpreted my message.

Firstly, your reply are targeting at Cser who complain about road user
Secondly, you used "your father" in a sentence where there's no need for it.
Here let me show u an example
"I don't like people who complain about Cser complaining , not happy don't see lah .... ask your *beep* to buy a photography forum and write until u shiok"
There's how i interpret your message . Btw if after reading the above example and it doesn't makes you comfortable , neither do we.

fireblade05 said:I agree, there are many reckless riders on the roads, I've had my fair share of encounters with dangerous riders as well. i.e small cc bike with heavy pillion travelling @ 80km/h on the 1st lane on SLE, super-fast 1000cc bike overtook me in less than 1sec just when I was abt to change lane etc.
But I ride on broken lines at times too. Before I get flamed, let me explain why.
Have you tried riding behind a 80km/h SUV with the driver talking and laughing to his passenger(usually pretty and female)? If there's a lane clear for me to change lanes and overtake, I WILL. Otherwise, I WILL estimate and overtake by the right of the vehicle.

sfhuang said:To be fair, I think most Singapore motorcyclists are careful riders - those who flout the rules and endanger themselves on the road just happen to etch themselves in our impression of motorcyclists in general. Johorian motorcyclists are far more dangerous than are Singaporean riders.
vince123123 said:If you're overtaking, thats fine, as it only happens for a few seconds. I'm referring to those who drive on the broken lines at least 70% of the time, as if its a motorcycle lane (similar to bus lanes).
That said, I was just wondering why can't a biker overtake like a normal car? ie use the whole lane rather than the broken lines in between cars. When a biker uses the whole lane to overtake, the car can see the biker easier. If the biker uses the broken lines to overtake, there's a good chance the overtaken car can't see the biker and knock the biker if the car decides to change lane as well.
