Have you considered Ritz Camera as their price is US$39.95; much cheaper than BHPhoto?

Have not tried them as they will ship internationally only if the customer sign up with a 3rd party who will then ship the item to him/her.

However, they do have several brick and mortar outlets in the USA.

Ritz Camera is a professional Camera Shop ... however, their prices are usually higher ... some of you who are in the States should know. Try other camera shops .. see if you find some online and call them ... they can quote you a lower price and send the products to your friends who is in US.

If your friend is going to be in the states, then don't bother ordering the dps9000 from the internet.

Tell him to go to "Best Buy" (a brick & mortar store). Prices are regularly (US) $29.99, although they'll have an occasionaly sale and reduce the price to $26. Additionally, you don't have to worry about shipping. :rbounce:

$29.99 is roughly S$53.

The problem is that he will be there ... but I do not think he will have time to shop ... it is a business trip ... will see if he can find such a shop there .... I think ydanz faced problems with Bestbuy as they do not have ready stock.
