As long as it's a Visa, MasterCard, or American Express then it can be used internationally. I have not had any problems using a MasterCard in Singapore. Are the rules different in Singapore? At least in the North America (Canada or US), if you get a credit card from one of the above companies then it can be used internationally.

Most smaller internet order companies may have problems as they are unfamiliar with the process. Larger companies should be fine. Brick & Mortar stores should be fine.

Although lots of the smaller internet companies black list many asian countries due to high rates of fraud.

Anyway, I recommend using Amazon.com. Price is $39.95 and payment shouldn't be a problem.

Contacted them ... they said that they do not have ready stock ... sigh ... the consider anyother cards that are not from USA , international Credit cards ... and they need to do validations ....

So that's what is meant by an international credit card. I guess you learn something new everyday.

It seems kind of one sided that a card issued in north america can be used internationally with out problem. But the vice versa is not true.

As for stock, they don't directly have any. Amazon.com has many partners that sell items through their website. In this case the third party is ritzcamera. In other words, Amazon.com doesn't have ready stock, but the item is available from ritz. If you go to Amazon's website, it clearly shows the availability of 1-2 days. If you choose to purchase from Amazon, they act as mediator and handle the payment. Any disputes will go through Amazon.com

Well good luck, hopefully your friend can obtain the dps-9000 at a low price.

I have 1 set of the DPS9000 for sale starting at S$140.

Could not reduce the price as there were problems getting it. Online store did not deliver on time, my friend had to make calls and go into stores to get it (plus VAT etc) Xin has opted this one out so ... it is now open to public ...

This is a brand new set that comes with all the cables(in sealed packing).
