There are two ways of doing it.
one is using the DK3, square to round adaptor and an eyepiece replacement for fm2/fe:

which is what i'm using now. square to round adaptor is available at alex photo.
altho' the price is a bit ex. so, just get the square to round adaptor, can get the rest(DK3,eyepiece replacement for fe/fm2) at CP... cheaper that way.

Yes... this is what i saw today using the DK3... so what is this DK7 that we are ordering now??? :dunno:

dun panic....
the original eyecup for F80 is the DK3 with adaptor..
wat they r ordering here is the DK6 meant for F100.. however they mod it to fit the f80. and it is cheaper..

DK3 plus adaptor adds up to $28!! :sweat:

Hey guys... just went to CP today, They confirmed that the correct eyecup for F80 & D100 should be DK3 with adaptor sqaure to round ring. They have run out of the round view finder ring.... what they have left are only view finder rings with degree for people with short-sighted...

Now this is really confusing... which is the correct eyecup for D100 & F80.... DK3 or DK6

BTW already confirmed with them since the S2Pro and F80 are the same body, they can both use the DK3 + adaptor....

Dunken from CP is the one who show me how to fixed... first remove the original DK10 square adaptor from the cam body... insert the square to round adaptor... insert the rubber DK3 on the adaptor... secure with a ring screw on to the square-round adaptor.... According to him the round ring does comes with various degree for short-sighted photographers and also 0 deg for normal people like most of us... however he runs out of stock of the 0 deg ring...

Hey can someone call Nikon to confirm this setup, whether DK6 or DK3 and with is the part no for the adaptor and ring...

Hi horizoner, I don't mind to go with you to your supplier when you purchase, as I do own both the F80 and D100, I can bring both bodies down to try. Alternatively, if you can, I believe they should have both bodies as well to try it out.
