i thinking of getting the EP-2 already... if i get a wedding assignment... ;p

EP 2 is like a very big battery holder only ley, and it's 200+ dollars for just a case without cells...

yes, for wedding, EP-2 is an advantage. i used my 3600, can only fire 1 flash at a time. recharging is about 2-3 secs. some shots are in total black.

the idea of a battery pack for flash is to have multiple capacitor. When the first flash fire, the second charged capacitor will immediately flood into the flash on standby. So it needs more than wire and battery. Some electronic background maybe required.

I don't think the EP-2 has any capacitors. It looks like it holds more batteries to charge the capacitors onboard the flash faster.

So it should be actually pretty simple to make. Just connect up the batteries and wire it up.

Well, judging from the overwheling positive response of getting a EP2, it should not be too difficult to rally 10 orders and send it to CP or KM Singapore for them to act. Always insist on local warranty

haha... for once don doesn't feel dat alone when he brings out his gear. esp since most of the 'sentosa gang' are either nikon or canon! kudos to don for organising a gathering!

btw, why not u KM folks organise one shoot for urselves? its pretty fun when u have everyone using the same equipment. its actually quite a bag of laughs, as i've encountered on my own medium-format shoot outing last sun. :bsmilie:

which edition u into? the 1st release model now cost a bomb, the latest 1 is selling very cheap... but depends on the scale, yoda 1/8 like hard 2 see... hehehe...
