Slip and injured both my knees while taking this. All bleed. But worth it.

Took a long time to PP and end with this final version. My favourite.

Well done Manita! :)

Just be very2 careful when you step on such structures and rocks near/on the water banks. These structures are very slippery and the rocks are usually loose and sharp. You could be badly injured if you slip and fall. You are lucky nothing serious happened here.

Really it is not worth to get injured just to have the composition you are eyeing for. Safety comes first before anything else and always take precaution.
If it is not safe enough for you, then just move on and try another :)

Dark power is really good! do take care though.
Hi Gymmie, thanks and glad you like it. I will.

Hi Zul, thanks to you for showing me the way. Yes I understand what you are saying and I will be careful next time. Maybe I was excited to see the huge pipe and forgot that it was slippery. Thanks so much for your concern and your advice.:)

PS: The next one I go will be at this place near the Futsal. I saw it but was already quite dark and went to MBS. Thanks.

Hi nitewalk, yes I was there Friday night with my Dad after east Coast. You saw me and you there too?

Hi Beh27, this is at Upper Seletar Reservior.

I was there with my girlfriend and saw you and your dad below the yog park. Haha. There were many photographers around too.

Very good use of leading line here. I find the water unnaturally white as well, partially because the sky appears dark here. Since there isn't much cloud movements in the sky, I would have opted to brighten up the sky and perhaps clone out the vessels as well to keep it even cleaner and simpler. That's just me though. ;)

Salute your passion and dedication to capture this shot.
Hope your wounds are healing by now. Be really careful though in the future. I once slipped and fell at Punggol End Beach and got multiple rock cuts on both my arms and palms. Good thing I wasn't alone that time :bsmilie:

aiyoh! Becareful!!!

You're still young and have many years of photography ahead, don't get too overzealous. Although you always see photos from gymmie, zul and me taken from strange and unnatural angles from places quite jia lat.. we always go about it slowly and carefully.

Be wary of our surroundings!

When you go into anywhere make sure its somewhat safe. Make sure theres no animals or poisonous things. use your tripod to check depth and movement and stuff.

Safety first ok!

after lecturing.. sub motion is very nice! Good job!

Hello Bro. Alvin, thanks. I will definitely take note on your comments to improve. Ya, the knee is still slightly painful but need to go dance rehersal soon. Thanks for your concern.:)

i like the effect you have created in #70
just wondering if you can turn down the exposure slightly... and make the colours slightly warmer.
That would be my preference... hehehe

Hello Uncle ZCA, Thanks and glad you like it. Of course can turn down the exposure. But for now, I will leave it.:)

#71 is quite dramatic (with your choice of processing)...

I wish the boat was larger to be more prominent in the photo though.

Hi Manita. You were at Changi Boardwalk yesterday evening with your father right?..
You passed me by along the boardwalk at the Ferry Terminal :)

agree, while water in such situation might have lighter tones, but the difference here is a bit too much :)
