Ha ! recently i try 2 get 1 for my nikon at the kl and penang shop, both of them get the metz from singapore and they told me that the sg. agent not selling the flash (metz)anymore. so i search around sg. photo forum 2 see where can i get this flash.
selling price in kl =rm1530.00, penang =rm1500.00
any1 pls tell me the price n where can i get it? Thanks

i found the tristate camera website (US online store) http://www.tristatecamera.com/looka...roducts&keywords=metz 58 AF&search_method=all selling at USD$369 without shipping, so to say around SGD$510 and i see that penang is selling SGD$623... ... maybe we can mass order from this store for the benefit of anyone who is interested the flash.
I am currently in Mongkok and Wing Shing guy has quoted me HKD3150 for the Metz 58 which would make it around SGD560 or slightly less, however it is only HK warranty. PLEASE PLEASE advise me, as the FL-50 would be around the same price but with International Warranty. Anyone managed to get the Metz for less or for roughly the same price but with International Warranty?
I got a 58 but mine is from the USA. Not sure what kind of warranty is on it. I din really bother and now I cannot find the box and the warranty card! I am not sure if anyone can help u. U gotta make your own decision and take a risk there, I suppose. After having both the Metz and the FL50, if I had to spend the money again, I would probably skip the FL50 and just get the Metz 58....but that is just me.
AFAIK, Metz warranties are outsourced to the local agents, so there's no international warranty. Also, pricing will differ from country to country, as the local agents are free to set their pricing in view of warranty servicing needs.
Was quoted $680 by Tony from K13 and agent will only bring in what dealers have ordered. They don't keep stock at all. It should arrive very soon as he already have a few orders and I'm one of them. $680 seems fair based on what what HK is selling S$650 and without any international warranty. My brother in US can get me one but after adding postage, it will only be about S$50 - S$60 cheaper.

Yupe egnaro is right. I got 2 pieces from Amazon. Kena poison by my brother telling me how good Metz Flash is but ended up he himself got poison after poisoning me. So have to pass him 1 piece. BTW the flash comes with Ver 2 firmware. U can do remote flash straight out from the box. Just tried on office. hehehe.
I would suggest you guys to get it from Alphonse source rather than K13 as Metz doesnt comes with International warranty and furthermore there is no local agent to service it in Singapore.
