That's why I now eyeing the  CZ 24-70...

:faint:

Not really worth it unless you upgrade to an A900. On an A350, I'd stick to the 16-80

That's why it's only eyeing at the moment. ;)

Times are bad.

Maybe should wait for the rumored newer Zeiss lenses?

Actually most people modify the car to make it lighter, looks better and go faster....

Anyway, to simply put, these are 2 stages of man's life:

1) For single/attached/MBA, modify the car so as to attract more women (BMW=Bring More Women)...

2) For married, upgrade camera/accessories so as to have excuses to spend less time with wife, while car is just a transport tool...
there are still ppl add in more stuffs lo.. skirting, speakers.. all those unnecessary dead loads :bsmilie: adding things that are hardly to any improvement to performance

i think married ones, the camera is like a 2nd wife. like car. haha
hmm... or is it the other way round. camera is first and wife is 2nd

Once upon a time, I was camera first, girlfriend 2nd until girlfriend complain.
Now married wife & kids 1st, Parents 2nd, work 3rd and camera 4th.

the best way is to get one for ur wife too :bsmilie:

that is provided she loves carrying that weight around....

alternatively, get a 10ct diamond ring or some LV bag for her and she will never complain coz your gears will prb cost less than those.... :sweatsm:

And now you wonder where you took the wrong turn in life :bsmilie: .. well, I admire your social responsiveness, you must make your family very proud ..

yes.. car is so unessential in SG.

is 24mp camera with a 3k+ pricetag essential?

;p

Well, the a900 to a studio photographer who's regularly shooting for huge prints - the camera comes as a comparatively cheap yet powerful studio tool that can creep up to the toes of a medium format camera at a fraction of the price.

What I'd probably just want is a high resolution camera that works well with some decent glasses (which is filled up by the G / CZ line) , reliable and accurate AF, ISO100 to 800 (800 is just in case), 1 to 2 fps... High Dynamic Range

So actually all those high res 21/24 mpx cameras already provides decent resolution for large prints - and has more or less exceeded my expectations...

Now Just waiting for second hand sets to appear...

how else can you take 24mpx pictures? stacking?

sorry. let me rephrase..

is taking 24mpx pictures essential?

but if u are a professional studio photographer.. or at least make some money out of it.. please ignore me.
:)

share a D400 (Alpha 800 ?) body pic

This is the one equipped with the Exmor chipset ?

Hi, may I ask whether the release of new SONY bodies in March will affect the pricing of lower-end entry level DSLRs?

Thanks

I doubt so, because there was already a drop in pricing from the previous show.

But who knows... :dunno:
