Attack is the best form of defence....and it's good the new manager dare to fire non performing one and bring in new competition....I can finally see some light at the end of the tunnel...:)

In January I think LVG will go for Strootman. He is a huge fan of Strootman.

maybe partner wilson with falcao and drop rooney to midfield

If this happens then Rooney will throw a bitch fit again..

As it is he is no longer the highest paid player so I am sure he is abit pissed..

Roma expect Strootman, 24, to be back to full fitness in November, but have already warned United it will take a "three-digit offer" - €100m (£79m) - to tempt them into a sale, after Van Gaal admitted before a pre-season friendly against the club that he would monitor the midfielder's recovery.

Louis van Gaal has reportedly targeted a £25 million January move

Lol... if he do that he is the most "throw face" captain hahaha...

To be fair to him.. He always gives his 100%..

When he submitted the requestS.. He still gives his all.. Even last year when we were so poor.. can see that he tries very hard to make things work but of course not every successful..

There are some players who look like they dun give a damn.. Those really throw face..

Scoring from all angles looks unstoppable ...

Varela heads to Madrid

Manchester United's Under-21 right-back Guillermo Varela has joined Real Madrid on loan for the remainder of the season.
The Uruguayan, who was the first signing of David Moyes' time in charge of the club, has moved to the Spanish capital to join Real's Reserves side.

Real confirmed the arrival of both the Uruguayan and Benjamin Kuscevic into the Castilla squad and both players will have the opportunity to work under French maestro Zinedine Zidane, who is the team's coach.

Varela will obtain experience playing in the Segunda Liga after being a regular in United's Under-21s last term and also performing as part of a three-man defence for Warren Joyce's men in the early part of this campaign.

Go to Real Madrid again!

Everyone going to RM or RM seems to like our players...

Van Persie excited by Falcao competition

Robin van Persie has embraced the deadline day capture of Radamel Falcao and admits he is relishing the competition for places at Manchester United.
The Colombian hotshot has joined from Monaco on a season-long loan deal to bolster Louis van Gaal’s attacking options following a disappointing start to the Barclays Premier League campaign that has yielded just two points from nine.

Van Persie says he is jostling for position with Falcao, club captain Wayne Rooney and young Academy graduate James Wilson, and the Dutchman is excited by the challenge ahead, citing Falcao as a fantastic addition to the squad.

"I welcome his arrival, he makes us better," Robin told Dutch media outlet Fox Sports NL. "At a top club you should always go for the best, which also fits my philosophy. Falcao must fight for his place, as I also have to. We must duke with Wayne Rooney and James Wilson to see who is playing."

Van Persie has also dismissed speculation that is about to undergo surgery on a knee injury that would keep him sidelined for several months.

"I am impressed that people can pick up the imagination to invent something like that," Robin explains. "I do not know where it comes from and can say with my hand on my heart that I won't be in a hospital to have the operation."

So RVP isn't going for op?:think::think:

Rvp & Falcao duo upfront
Rooney..err...go for defensive midfield ? lol

I wonder if Rooney will threaten to quit again? Hopefully he will use this opportunity to prove to others on how versatile he can be, not only just as a striker.
