I did not watch the full game. Only watch the highlights. Seemed JM do have the balls to take out ALL his recent signings.

He left his signings out of the first 11 because it is just the league cup.

He will prove he has balls if he dares to leave all the big ( & out of form) names out in the premier league games.

Seeing Rooney played 90min then there is a chance he might not play against Leicester this weekend. Another thing is Herrera. He played with enthusiasm and full of energy. Carrick was a calm influence and able to dictate the play. So hopefully both of them will get a chance to play this weekend.

Then Pogba can play in his more advanced role. It was shown in the Euros that he can't play in a deeper role. Deschamp was criticised heavily for that and I can't believe JM is doing the same thing.

Rooney was lousy...now good excuse to drop him for the weekend

IMO tonight game is paramount important for MU players and manager to silence critics a little in the run up of 3 home games. The team selection is vital to winning them all. Gaining confidence and scoring cannot be trained, the degree of it depends on individual. As such, having more years of play and experience do play a part in boosting confidence but this is not a sure case now for MU senior players. We need young ones to fire up and dare to venture out more mentality, don't give up. Pressure and Stress are part and parcel of playing at home and getting the right results. All the way MU GO GO GO.

Glory glory Man United! Come on you reds!

Rooney dropped.

Better play well to justify it.. Esp Pogba.. Lingard in the squad to run like a dog.. Haha

Goals starts to flow when Rooney is dropped so it goes to say we need to drop him more .... ;p Thought we should have another goal or 2 in the second half ... and Rashford can't stop scoring!

Worth it this trip haha

Did you get to meet any players?

3.05am tonight in the Europa..

Miki, Rooney and Shaw are out and Zlatan starts.. So does this mean JM is going all out for victory?..

Just watched the pre match conference.. JM looks very down emotionally.. Answering questions half heartedly.. Wonder if he is feeling the pressures of being United manager..

The so call Confirmed United squad members for tonight's game:

Romero, Johnstone, Darmian, Fosu-Mensah, Smalling, Bailly, Rojo, Fellaini, Carrick, Schneiderlin, Mata, Lingard, Young, Rooney, Martial, Ibrahimovic, Rashford, Blind, Pogba

UNITED 1 STOKE CITY 1

Shots on target: United 9 Stoke 6
Corners: United 13 Stoke 2

United: De Gea; Valencia, Bailly, Smalling, Blind; Pogba, Herrera (Memphis 84); Lingard (Martial 67), Mata (Rooney 67), Rashford; Ibrahimovic.

Rashford in Midfield again ... JM seems like to play him in MF and Ibra lone striker ... wonder if thats why we can't win ...

IMO De Gea should have done better for allowing Stoke goal. He would have tracked the ball coming to him. Instead of parring it away strongly, he was of 2 minds whether to catch it instead but it bounce off his catch, rebouncing on the bar. Then where were the defense 2 Stoke city players were on the pounce, waiting for the rebounce. Who do we have, only Valencia react first but too late to stop the goal. Its so frustrating, amidst all the misses and Stoke goalkeeper heroic saves, even if we did not get any luck and failed to score a second goal to finish the game, De Gea and the defense should have stopped the Stoke goal. 1-1 is only good when other top 5 clubs loses, but they are not, so we are still lying in 6th position. Pogba missed so many setters that I felt he is not as sharp as compared when he played for Juventus. Is it that English football is of a much faster pace and his reaction time to strike is too anxious and out of timing. His headers are just too naively out of target. One wonders and doubt, does he knows his position and the where about of the goal post. So 1 more home game, hope we win it convincingly.

In the first place Blind should have cleared the ball up the field and not out for a throw in. That was the first mistake which led to the goal.

Keeper was very good today and denied United several times.

Tough luck today and the next match will be against the high flying Liverpool. United might stand no chance at Anfield.

Fun fact comparison. LvG's United had more points than JM's United at the same stage last season. This is for all the JM haters.

Saw the no of goals we missed if we score have of those could be a new record in the PL ... their keeper really good form or we really no luck ... think both ...

With this performance by our defenders dun think we are able to even get a point from AnyField ...

Yup ... Last Season we are on top of the league with 3 more points then now ... also better Goal different of 7 ... and our GD now is 5 ... and thought we are suppose to better ...
