~ Banana walnut bread. Trying to replicate Gardenia's ~​

u are improving! like the feel of wooden board. can see you are including the ingredients used. but the banana is too far behind and u need to scatter more walnuts around it. a tighter picture to leave out the distracting background and you will have a very nice pic!

Tighter pic? How?

I really tried to eliminate the unsightly background but i couldn't manage to unless i crop which i tried but the outcome not so desirable.

Another solution is to use 1 colour background which i don't have. No paper / cloth at the moment.

Could shoot it at the side of the table, so it's horizontal across the image. Make the board's diagonal with the bread cut a few loaves as you've done. Probably in the front put a few bananas and walnut leading to the camera. Something like still life. That'll be great.

but i think the toppings on the top of the bread should use chopped walnuts instead of huge chunks of walnut... will try to find my carrot cake pic.

Hehehee... thanks but piggy me like walnut whole. Love the crunch munch crunch. Chopped walnuts is also nice.. esp on muffin top but chunks of walnut rock my boat :bsmilie:

totally know how it feels to have a bad day. when I first started out and couldnt control my cam, you will feel like giving up.
but i guess you can rough out the bad times.

nowadays i reflect on the mistakes and try not to make the same mistakes.

Yeah.. totally. Feel like giving up and wanna cry! So disappointed with the shots yesterday. Just can't get it right.. after so many test shots. Worst is, still don't know what went wrong and i've got no one to turn to for help. Sigh.
