I sold my M9 and bought this module.
Kinda makes sense.
Definitely in terms of bang for buck.
What would be really nice is if Ricoh bought up some of the leftover Nikon D700 sensors and used them for a fullframe module. I would willingly pay for that module, especially when that sensor has great ISO noise characteristics.

haha I'm also looking for the button!Where's the unlike button?![]()
Just got the GXR+M mount module today. Can't wait to test it but it's late already. So my pet RUBIK became the first test target
Here is a quick shot: (ISO800, dim, indoor lighting; not used to the pix/LCD's brightness hence shot was under-exposed a bit. More noise are visible at a result.)
Here is an enlarged image (about 67% I think):
I must say that I'm really happy with this system.

Chua, you have v steady hands n good skills. With the 1.5. factor, all yr lenses effectively become short tele. So yr pix give an impression that you r just stand far away and snap something you feel nice. Aiyo you too shy lah. Try wider angler lens and move nearer. 敢敢来。My humble collections. Using GRX on Jupiter 12. rollei 40f2.8, Serenar 50f1.8, Nikon 10.5cm f2.5 amd Leica 90f4.

Just to add about my own experience with this combo: I have strong myopia so when I take out my glasses, I can focus using the GXR's LCD screen comfortably at natural distance (like ~10cm from my eyes). The great thing about this GXR is that: I can see if subject is in focus or not very clearly without having to use the various focus assist features (like peaking, centre-zoom, etc. all very slow and inconvenient to me.) And WISIWIG! This is NOT the case when I did the same thing with E-P2 and NEX-5. It's like the GXR's LCD is factory-calibrated to my myopic eyesSeriously, I get a lot more in-focus shots (esp. off-centre ones) with the GXR than my M9. How I wish it is FF or at least 1.3X then I would sell my M9-P HAHA...
For those who need to move the LCD much further from you eyes, whatever I experience may not be applicable at all. So caveat: YMMV.
