Here's one i took over the weekend... GXR - Ultron 35/1.7

Does this module surpass the M8? I read on somewhere that at low ISO it has more noise than the M8.

If you expose well and good, it doesn't really matter. Noise reduction in Jpegs is good. In any case, the M8 has quite a bit of problems with super wide angles, whereas the modules does not seem to exhibit a lot.

And in any case, at least you get a robust camera with none of the Leica quirks.

The Zeiss C-Sonnar is amazingly sharp wide open at f1.5. The only issue is purple fringing, which is no doubt responsible for the 'glow'.

still learning to use the camera, but must say coming back to digital having shot film in recent times is pretty exciting..











the first 3 bird pics were taken with the 50mm Lux Pre-asph, rest were with the 50mm Zeiss Sonnar.
