Ignore what the sales said. Just go ahead and register your camera with serial number and date of purchase, you'll be okay. Keep the invoice.....:sweat:

Went M S Colour yesterday and was told that they did not have the normal case to give since there's already the leather case that can be redeemed at Panasonic. Well I was disappointed as I was prepared to buy on the spot. The promotion clearly states both cases to be given.

Going Funan today instead, hope I will be a happy LX5 owner by tonight.

To be fair, they were giving away screen protector which isn't mentioned in the promotion, though I wasn't buying the idea that this was sufficient to replace the case.

On hindsight, isn't it clear that they were lying to me that they did not have the stock because 'Panasonic took back the cases from M S Colour because they were giving leather case instead'???

I'm glad I didn't get from M S after all, by virtue of such service.
