Hi all, not too sure if this has been asked before but where can i find the best deal for the LX3? and what are the freebies in the market? Checked with MS photo $690 but no stock and Parisilk at $689 both have the 8gb card free. Anyone know of a better deal out there? Pls share. Thanks!

The improvements in latest are pretty noticeable.
WB was much improved in ver 1.3 but ver 2.0 improves upon it.
The square 1:1 aspect ratio is cool.
It feels like I'm getting a new camera with the added functionality.
Thumbs up to the folks at Panasonic for the continual improvements.

Just got my LX3!!! So happy!

But i got a question...i bought the Ricoh LC-1 lens cap, but it cant fix on my LX3...i already unscrew out the outer ring cap of the LX3 but i cant manage to screw the LC-1 in...

Any advise??? ^^

Just got an LX3 over the Hari Raya weekend!

Tried searching for answers to my question below, but after sifting through many many pages, still couldn't find the answer I was looking for ... Very sad
I wish to be able to set the 2sec timer and shoot a number of shots with it. However, after each shot, the camera reverts to normal single-shot mode. Is there any way to 'lock' the setting on 2sec timer until I no longer want to use it?

so sad.... nobody answered my question... :cry:

U not supposed to screw anything out. Just try to screw the LC-1 lens cap onto the outer ring cap. It should fit nicely and tight.

I think you need? I unscrewed out the first ring, and the LC-1 now fits tightly and nicely on it. I suppose to snap on it, not turn, thats why i didnt manage to fix it in the first time. :bsmilie:

i seem to have an issue with setting the C1 and C2... its not permanent, once i switch modes on the dail... it resets back to standard. (even after i "set memory" option under the contrast/sharpness/etc settings)

Anyone has the same issue, or remedy for it?

Bro are u using firmware 2.0? Coz i read online that some users are having problems with the Custom settings on firmware 2.0. Anyway I am using 2.0, and after i set the contrast/sharpness/etc settings, they remain there.

After u set the settings, did you save the settings under C1 or C2 again?

Actually i found out my firmware is 1.0. Hahahaha
I switch dial to C1 or C2, try to save my preferred settings, but once i changed dials, it reverts back. Saving on "Myphoto1" or 2 doesnt work either. I believe that might be the bugs that come with 1.0? :dunno:

Actually u may wann hold up on that; I tink the download link for ver2.0 is suspended as they are gonna release ver2.1 a couple of weeks from now.
