Hi.. I hv two problems with my lx3 here. Appreciate some advise.....
1) When using iA, I noticed the picture always turn out either too bright or two dim. Since it's supposed to be autonatic, I'm not sure if there's anything I could set abt it.
2) When using the A, S or M mode, I noticed there's an indicator (-2, -1, 0, 1, 2) appearing on the screen when I half press the shutter. Is that the esposure metering? It always turns out to be either on the negative or positive side. I've tried balancing it (so it'll hit 0) by adjusting the apperture/shutter setting but I noticed it did nothing to the value shown earlier. I'm not sure if it's bcos of anything that I have not done right. Anyone with similar problems? Please assist.
Looks good. But she have to go for the 3MP EZ resolution to clear the vignetting issue. Can't imagine if a 2x or more tele is used. I guess the vignetting issue will be worst. Oh well, guess can't push this camera too far.
Juz wan to check... I'm lookin for a second batt + charger...
Batt I'll go wif the original.
Charger.. does it hav alternative / cheaper brand?
Where to get the best deal?
No photo samples yet.
Actually, this person who posted using the TC-15ED also posted in DPreview. There are some photo samples taken with 3MP EZ and with the Teleconverter on. It does look sharper. But too bad the resolution is 3MP. It will be good if it is 6MP. But can see that the 'bokeh' is there. But not sure if she (i believe its a she), used Macro mode to achieve that or by spot focusing the subject to achieve that.
Last time for my LX2, I used the Camera Devices charger sold by Eastgear.
The LX3 is using the same battery as the LX2.
HTH.

Hi
I charged my new original panaspnic battery for 4 hrs for the 1st charge but it didnt last very long. Subsequent charging also did not yield long battery life. Anyone has the same problem?
thanks
thought the charger will auto stop charging once battery full? the led on the charger will go off rite? so does leaving the battery on the charger after the led is off will still continue to charge?
